Creative Slam - Live GreenJam Event

As part of our Agency Curve community and in partnership with the Alliance of Independent Agencies, we are hosting the next Creative Slam event at The Ingenuity Group HQ on the 8th September.

Creative Slam

As part of the ever-popular GreenJam programme, designed to develop junior to mid-level talent across agencies, Creative Slam is a high-energy, collaborative event that showcases the power of creativity under pressure.

Working in teams of around six, participants will tackle a live brief from The Royal Voluntary Service and have just 45 minutes to develop a creative response. They’ll need to understand the challenge, identify the target audience, shape their thinking and present a compelling idea back to the client and judging panel.

It’s fast-paced, practical and a brilliant opportunity to collaborate with peers from across the independent agency community, think differently and experience the pressures and excitement of pitching ideas in a live environment.

Event Schedule

5:30pm – Arrival, registration & refreshments

5:45pm – Welcome, introductions & Creative Slam briefing

6:00pm – Client brief presentation

6:15pm – Creative challenge – teams collaborate to solve the brief, develop ideas and prepare their pitch.

7:00pm – Team pitches – each team will have up to 7 minutes to present their creative response to the judging panel.

7:45pm – Judging, winner announcement & closing remarks.

8:00pm – Networking drinks with the client, judges and fellow participants.

Client Brief

This Creative Slam will feature a live brief from The Royal Voluntary Service, one of Britain’s largest volunteering charities. Participants will work directly on the clients business challenge, giving them the opportunity to develop ideas for a nationally recognised organisation and pitch their thinking back to the client on the night.
